About the Workshop

What we’ll do (hands-on)

  • Grip breaks: wrist-grab escape + shirt-grab escape

  • Get up fast: frames → hip escape → technical stand-up

  • Pin escapes: how to get a bigger person off 

  • Safe takedown defense & reaction games 

  • Small groups on clean, supervised mats (parents may observe)

 

When & Who

  • 9:00–10:00 AM — Ages 6–8 

  • 10:00–11:00 AM — Ages 9–13

    If sign-ups are light, we may combine to 9:30–10:30 AM. We’ll confirm Friday at 2 PM.

 

What to bring

Athletic wear • Water bottle. No experience needed.

Why Binding Arts

We’re a family-run Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academy in Howell that specializes in age-based kids classes. Our coaches keep groups small, teach hands-on safety skills, and make it fun so confidence sticks. Clean mats, clear rules, and a focus on respect.
